Our heroes return in book 3 of the Veranuxz Experiment. Having finally joined their celestial counterparts on their home planet, three remarkable humans (and one exceptional bear) find themselves thrust into a universe-spanning cataclysm that has been lurking behind the scenes for decades—centuries—perhaps even millennia.
 

In a universe about to be shaken to its core, Rudolph, Hanze, Franz, and Gleven have to question everything they thought they’d understood as friends become enemies and enemies become the universe’s only hope. As the mighty Alpha Voth Quazarth unleashes his massive, nearly undetectable army, the humans have to seek the aid of the terrifying Straunch: giant galactic barbarians infamous for their brutality and inexplicable power.

But perhaps the most frightening thing the scourges of the universe have to offer isn’t their blades or their disturbing inability to stay dead—because the Straunch also have a world-shaking truth to tell. About their friends the Veranians, about the order of the universe, and about these ersatz heroes themselves. Can the humans reconcile everything they’re learning with everything they’ve known in time to save the cosmos from annihilation?
